Asian Baptist Student Koinonia
ABSK is a Christian group devoted to nurturing a community of faith among students on the UMD campus. ABSK is on campuses throughout the East Coast, including Georgetown and University of Maryland.
ABSK strives to help students cultivate their faith through in-depth study of the Bible, fellowship with one another, and service to the wider campus community.
We love to study God’s Word, eat together, play sports, or simply hang out and get to know each other. Join us this semester for Wednesday Bible studies and Sunday gatherings!
The group is not limited to Asians, Baptists, or people who know what Koinonia means (but FYI, it means “fellowship” in Greek). So come join us!

As we study the Bible together every week, you will find the truth of God and Jesus Christ who will satisfy your every need
RELATIONSHIP
At ABSK, we emphasize biblical discipleship relationships, really getting to know one another and sharing life together.
So you can expect to find genuine mentorship, accountability and support to help you in your personal walk with God.
FELLOWSHIP
Koinonia means ‘fellowship’ in Greek. And we love to fellowship with each other! We love to sing together, eat meals together, play games together, and just share our lives together.

Wednesday Bible Study
Every Wednesday, we meet to praise God, study the Word of God, and fellowship together, with food and games.
All are welcome to join us!
